Champion class

Our class had to write a poem about a moment that took 10 seconds. We had to include strong verbs, a new action on every line, all the lines had to start with a Capital letter. Here is my poem, I hope you enjoy reading it!!! 

There are two left in the ring

Gradually moving him into a halt

Squeezing on the reins

Wrap my legs around him

Try to stay seated in the saddle

Eyes turn to the judge

Staring

Keep moving “You can do this”

Waits

Breathes

Scared

Nudges him over

Hurry up I think

We can do this

The pony

Walks

Halts

Happy

Floppy

Wobbles

Everyone with eager eyes

Waits

           Waits

                      and Waits

Hesitates to move on…

We got champion!!!
